Where is algester brisbane

Fortunately, this suburb has not such things. We have IGA not great but good if you want to buy something quickly. Also, opposite to the Algester shopping centre is 7 Eleven so not very far. I like the parks in Algester which is good enough for toddlers. Also, Parkinson parks, Calamvale parks are not far from this place. My ratings are high for this suburb. I hear sometimes Goods train noise but that is not really much. It is less than you expect.

I am sure during summer it will be less noticeable. Also, I don't think there is any dust issue here. I will rate this suburb very high for family, safety, public transport every 5 minutes there is a bus to the city in the morning. Even on weekends, there is a good bus facility to the city. People are nice here. It is a peaceful suburb you won't hear sirens, loud talks at all. In fact, we feel like we are out in the jungle. I just bought a house here and I love it.

Nice people around close to shops, parks and nice neighbourhood. Love Algester. What a great find. Close to motorway, busses to city or train interchange. Great local shops too! Friendly neighbours and neighbourhood. Everyone keeps a lookout for others. Not to mention the great range of food outlets and proximity to Sunnybank hills and Garden City!

My forever burb! One of my favorate things about Algester is that the people that live there are more country than City. You can notice this easily by going for a stroll through any local park.

You'll notice everyone you pass smiles and says hello or greets you positively. Such a welcoming experience unlike anything I've had anywhere else in Brisbane.

Mostly home owners, mostly friendly. Great little Burb. Close to asian Food options of sunny bank yet faraway from the hustle bustle 2. Peaceful and calm. Great neighbourhood and a lot families. Hi rahul, i am moving from newzealand, can you guide me which suburbs and schools are good for family and kids.

I search little bit and gound parkridge , greenbank or pallara and rochdele is a expensive one. We bought our home in Algester five years ago. Our neighbours are absolutely beautiful and warm, and so kind to our kids. Everyone in our street looks out for one another. We love the gorgeous sunsets. We love it here. I live near the boarder of Parkinson and Calamvale, friendly neighborhood, alot of parks and you will get a smile or 'Hi'when some one walk pass you.

You wouldnt be able to get this from other suburbs like sunnybank, eight mile plaint, etc Helpful neighborhood that will take care of house when I am not in town My partner used to live in Algester. The traffic to get to Algester in the afternoons is outrageous. It is far away from everything. Ive lived here for a little over 10 years and lived in neighbouring Parkinson for 2 years before that and love the area.

It's clean, quiet and perfect for families or anyone that doesn't want nightlife or major traffic on your doorstep. Local school, Calamvale Community College is great, well resourced with beautiful grounds and newish buildings. Nice parks and the suburb still has a little bit of natural bush and nature around it. My first impressions of Algester were not good.

Went to look at a rental and as soon as I got out of my car there were a group of people yelling out their window from their apartment at me, whistling at me, and trying to get me to go up there. Their presentation wasn't great and the skulls hanging from their window turned me completely off considering renting anywhere near them.

I live at the southern end of Algester that boarders Calamvale and Parkinson. I absolutely love where I live. The neighbours are friendly and quiet. The local shopping area Supa IGA, the medical centre and Chemist etc are fantastic and are very friendly and helpful.

The city bus service can not be faulted. There are plenty of childcare services and three local schools. Two gyms nearby and a pool. Just moved here, Really nice neighborhood, safer and clean, and bus directly connected to CBD and garden city.

However despite of the lack of shopping and entertainment facilities, the traffic noise have become my major problem, Ever morning start at 4am, that car and truck just making noise that hit thru your window, at 5am Corvus and birds join the party, rly annoying, now I am thinking to build a soundproofing fence around my house.

Algester is a fantastic suburb to live in. I have lived in the area for the last 16 years attending Algester Primary School and being a part of the Algester Little Athletics Club and am not looking to move anywhere anytime soon. Having schools, shops, parks, cafes all within a short distance, very frequent buses to take you directly into the city.

Located in a quiet pocket of South Brisbane it is only a 20 minute drive into the city or 40 minutes to the Gold Coast. Close to everything. Very handy for those last minute things IGA. Great for catching the bus. Nice little eatery places nearby. Gym, parks, schools, kinders, shopping centres etc. Great for raising a family and nice and quiet, no trouble what so ever. Quite, safe, close to the city. Central to almost everything the list goes on! It is a great established suburb for raising a family.

With good parks around, and quiet at night. Plenty of medical centres around, and Woolies and IGA are around the corner. Algester is a quiet suburb, but has fantastic public transport straight to the City and lots of local shops. Great for families, close to schools, parks, bike tracks, shops, public transport ect Yes its an older area however it gives a great balance of activity and of quiet living.

No pretensious fakes here - just real people people living in a great community. And great property value to boot. Its a great place for a family to live. Quite, friendly and a great place with shopping centres close by, school, day care, parks and of all a great neighbourhood.

Well, perhaps it's not the right suburb for "A" to live then. Hopefully "A"s found himself somewhere that welcomes people that can't even form a complete sentence while bagging a suburb.
