I really hope we can get it again. The low foam stuff stinks and it takes another load or two in regular detergent to get rid of the smell.
It does do its job well though. I had some dye that I accidentally squirted in the wrong space while dyeing. After batching and rinsing I rubbed some into the spot that I didn't want. It actually took out most of that spot! Please give us back the regular Synthrapol. I wish I could give different ratings for the regular synthrapol versus the low-foam synthrapol.
I would give the regular synthrapol 5 stars - I have no issues with it whatsoever and it has saved me so many times. The smell permeated my entire apartment so much so that my boyfriend couldn't even tolerate the smell and we had to keep the soaking item in the bathroom with the door closed. I'm a vintage clothing dealer and can't sell items that smell like toxic chemicals.
I was really disappointed with the low-foam synthrapol - I'd give it 2 stars if I could rate it separately. It does the job just as the regular one does but the smell is incredibly overwhelming.
The Low Foam Synthrapol had a very bad chemical smell Not good This soap smell like toxic death!!! I was doing tie dye for the first time and was just following Dharmas instructions. It made me sick! The smell stayed in the clothes and I had to wash them three times to get it out.
Also it seemed like the colors faded with the wash which was very sad. I will be returning this and never using it again. It was absolutely disgusting. The smell is horrid. I was forced to return it Dharma staff told me with a straight face it smells lovely. I'm honestly amazed they sell it at all given the horrid burnt plasticchemical smell. It's not at all appropriate for fabrics. Customer Comments. Show me another. Leave a comment. Item Added to Cart.
